What’s So Good About Apple?

To start, the quality of Apple’s products is simply incredible. The iPhone can take stunning photos, and is amazing for travelling around with! The iPad packs a lot of power and is still sleek enough to travel around with. The MacBook is also very powerful, but just small enough to fit in your backpack or some luggage bag. The benefits of having Apple devices are nearly endless! 

What Can They Do?

So, say for example, if you had an iPhone accompanied by a MacBook. Well, you could use your iPhone as a webcam for the Macbook! And when you use the iPhone as a webcam, you can either have it pointed directly at you, or down towards whatever you’re doing. Pretty cool, right? And the iPad also has some cool features, such as Stage Manager! What Stage Manager allows you to do is take your open apps and arrange them in a neat stack to the side of your screen, which you can take out of and put them on your screen in an organized manner, or however you want! Then, going back to the iPhone, there’s Center Stage. Which allows you to stay in the frame even when you walk away! It uses the ultrawide camera to track where you are. Really neat if you’re trying to show your audience something, and you have to go out of frame to get it! Apple products also are in general, more durable and reliable for the consumer that purchased them. If you get a durable case and screen protector for it, it won’t be very likely that it’ll crack, or get damaged. Their software also gets updates very quickly, since they come directly from Apple. So, there’s no need to worry about delayed updates or anything of the such.

What Are Some Other Products of Apple’s?

Well, there’s also the iMac, Mac Pro, and Mac Mini! The iMac is an all-in-one type of computer, all you need comes with it. The keyboard, the mouse, and the computer itself. The Mac Pro is an absolute beast, being a big metal case with all the guts of it inside. You can get amazing components with it, like an entire terabyte of RAM, and a 40TB SSD. Now, of course, with hardware this outrageous, it takes a punch to your wallet. That would cost you around $52,000. I would never buy that, cause some laptops suffice for me and they only cost a thousand, or maybe under. Moving on, the Mac Mini is a sleek, minimalistic design that packs an entire Mac within it, can be hooked up to an external monitor, and can be used for all the needs you search for when buying a Mac. I think the Mini would be the best deal, coming in at $1,299. So, if you’re looking for a good computer but are on a budget, I think the Mac Mini or the MacBook would be your best choice! There are other products as well, such as the Apple Watch or the Airpods – the Watch is good for someone who focuses on fitness a lot and is on the move most of the time. The Airpods are great for listening to music, and if you want a very luxurious listening experience, maybe get the Airpods Max. Instead of earbuds, they’re full headphones that have amazing listening quality, fantastic for the audiophile. Apple sells other, more useless products… Such as a washcloth for cleaning the screens on your other Apple products which costs an entire $19. If I’m being honest, you could get a much more high-quality washcloth for so much cheaper. So, make sure not to waste money on that!

Should I Buy the Pro Devices?

If you have a lot of money to spend, go for it. For those of you who are on a tighter budget, I’m not too sure. Yes, the Pro versions of these devices are very good, however… They are ridiculously expensive. The iPhone 14 Pro Max STARTS at $999. A maxed-out iPhone costs $1599. Even the normal iPhone 14 starts at $799. What I would suggest is getting the iPhone SE if you’re really tight on budget, and if you can afford it, get the 14. 

Why are they so expensive?

They’re so expensive mainly because Apple is greedy. They put up shocking prices for something as simple as a laptop or a phone. You know, on the Android side of things, you can get a phone or tablet for so much less. If you check out my other post about Android and Apple, you could get a pretty good explanation of how they compare, both in price and hardware and software. 

What if I’m Switching From Android?

Most of your issues about switching from Android to iOS are addressed on the Apple website. But I’ll state some here as well! To start off, you can easily bring your photos, Google account, calendar, and messages over to iOS with the Move to iOS app. You’re also able to trade in your Android phone if it’s eligible for credits. If not, Apple will recycle it for you. So, the transition from Android to Apple should be smooth enough for you!

Is it Worth it?

As I said earlier, if you have a lot of money to spend, sure. It is worth it. But again, if you’re on a tight budget and still wanna have some money left over afterwards, just get the SE or normal 14. I use the normal 13 and it works completely fine for me, so I have no doubt it’ll be fine for you as well. 

Conclusion

I love Apple devices, but of course they have their cons and pros over Android. They perform incredible too, and they also link together with whatever other Apple devices you have through the Apple ecosystem, and are just a breeze in general to use.
