Android V.S. Apple

How Mobile Apple Devices Compare to Android Devices

Android devices tend to be better than Apple devices in many ways. Here, I will tell you about how Android devices compare to Apple’s.

Software

Android has an advantage in terms of software. You’re able to easily modify Android devices, unlike Apple. On Apple devices, you are restricted to whatever Apple gives you, without being able to customize very much. I also like Android because you have more apps on the Google Play Store than on the App Store, and you can install themes on Android. On Apple’s devices, you can’t do that. You can get third-party apps if you use software to sideload them on there, though!

Hardware

Going to hardware, a couple of Android tablets are just as good as the iPad Pro, like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. It can have 16GB of RAM, a TB of storage, and a 14.6-inch display. Comparing it to the iPad Pro which has the same specs, except for it having a 2TB option for storage and only a 12.9-inch display. Some of the phones Samsung makes have incredible cameras and specs, and you can even get them with big fans that, surprisingly, cool it very well. Meanwhile, with Apple, you can only get the accessories they offer you. Going to cameras, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra wins. The iPhone 14 Pro has a 48MP camera, while the S22 Ultra has a 108MP camera.

Pricing

Going back to pricing, as we can see, Apple puts up egregious prices. However, on the Android side of things, they put up very reasonable prices compared to Apple. As I mentioned earlier, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra’s price is only $1199. So, not only are you getting almost the same specs and even more benefits in the software, but you’re also getting it for a very good price. Whenever I go out, I see a bunch of Android users rather than iPhone users. I can see why, especially cause of all the reasons I listed. I like iPhones as well, mainly because of the optimization of their software and the quality of their displays. Now, of course, Apple is dominant in sales. Everyone loves Apple, mostly for the quality of their products. That’s the main reason people pay insane prices for their devices. We were thinking about getting an Android tablet but decided to get an iPad instead since we were already mostly Apple users.

Conclusion

Overall, in most cases, Apple does win in reliability and optimization, but Android wins in every other way. I hope you enjoyed reading this, and I’ll see you soon!
